See Inside My Latest Release Gratitude Journals - Illustrated Colour Writing Prompts

Well, it has certainly been a busy few weeks!  So far I've created six illustrated subject theme sets of my Gratitude Journals so far, all ready to order online at amazon and have delivered to your door.

Each  design subject theme of Journals also has a selection of between 4-6 different cover designs, so you really get to select not only the theme subject, but also the cover that resonates with you!

This latest three sets have been created to be simpler, cleaner, less fussy, and more suited as gifts for the men in our lives, who also deserve to get the benefit of being  more consciously thankful in life and recording our blessings and abundance in writing.

So, the latest ones include Retro Vibe, which is groovy and very hip colourful backgrounds for the very trendy man.

And then the Inspirational series has beautifully photographed inspirational quotes highlighting the pages with the thankfulness diary prompts.

Then just for a bit of fun suitable for everyone, I created a series of comical and Cute Cat designs!  Very cute cartoon cats, very fun, and still maintaining the mindfulness of pondering your abundance in life, but not too fussy or feminine in theme design.

Perfect gifts for the men in your life, or for corporate end of year gifts to motivate staff and business associates, without having to fuss about genders!

Have a look inside them here!

Back to School Supplies Should Include Named Notebooks as well as Student Planners

Getting your planners and notebooks ready, you can be a bit creative and have some fun with it.

If you go into the school year with a sense of clarity, any student will start the school year off with an advantage.

The whole learning process can go smoothly with some basic organizational skills for school

Try these nine tips to properly prepare and organize the beginning of your school year:

First of all, ease into it!

You can get in the right frame of mind for the change into the academic year by rehearsing activities like light homework and getting your mind back into shape with some practical activities.

Warm up for going back to school - try these tips and you will have a head start on everyone else.

1. Use folders and binders.

It helps have a way to keep all of your school paperwork sorted for easy access.

Sometimes, your child's teacher will require a specific set folders or binders, so check to see if the school or teacher has provided a list of specific supplies before you go shopping.

2. Have a place for everything.

Decide on a set spot for all of your school things. Designate specific slots or pouches for everything from papers and notebooks to pencils and pens.

If you know exactly where something is, you save time spent on looking for it later.

3. Make a to-do list.

A to-do list is essential for staying on top of everything going on with school. If you try to keep everything you need to do in your head, you're bound to forget something.

A to-do list right in front of you will help you see exactly what should be done and when. It's a great time saver.

4. Have your things ready the night before school.

Gather your things before you go to sleep at night. This method will be a lifesaver for you if you're not a morning person.

In the morning, you can get out of bed and know that your bags are packed and ready to go.

To save even more time in the mornings, lay out each child's clothes the night before. Trying to figure out what to wear in the midst of the morning rush sets you up for a stressful day.

However, a little advance planning can help you feel in control and set the stage for a productive day instead.

5. Plan your meals.

If you're busy, you might be tempted to skip a meal.

To maintain your health and energy, ensure that you're eating nutritiously.

Plan enough time in advance for breakfast in the morning and pack a healthy school lunch box.

6. Have a place for homework.

Have a set place and time to do homework.

If they stay organized with a specific homework flow, the whole process can go quickly and the kids will be done before you know it.

Setting out the timing in their student planner and a wall scheduler will help everyone to stick to the study schedules

7. Keep lines of communication open.

In order to have an efficient and organized life, discuss important issues with your family members on a regular basis.

Keep the lines of communication open and let your children know that you value their input and concerns.

8. Line up transportation.

Decide on school transportation plans early. Will your kids take the bus, or do you need to take them to school?

Plan for back up transportation whenever possible for the times that things don't go according to plan.

9. Have the right attitude.

Remember that a positive attitude can make things run smoothly.

Your attitude can be the difference between success and failure in keeping things organized.

Your attitude determines whether your household is one of peace or chaos. Choose peace!

10. Learning Begins at Home:

Every student benefits from having a supportive home environment for studying, homework and activities that broaden your knowledge.

Try some of these fun and simple to do child learning activities during the break, and at home during the academic year, to help your kids grow and get a bit of an edge in school.

Remember to enjoy the process of preparing for school. Try new things, and keep the goal in mind.

A little advance planning can go a long way towards relieving much of the stress that the beginning of school brings.

And getting your back to school supplies well ahead of time takes a lot of stress out of the whole process.

Top 5 Ways to Feel Gratitude in Challenging Times

Times of trouble can make it more difficult for you to find gratitude in your heart. They can make you turn to anger or resentment. However, you can still show gratitude despite challenging issues in your life.

If challenging times are affecting your ability to see gratitude, consider these ideas:

1. Search for the positive.

You may be going through a stressful or difficult period in your life, but it shouldn't stop you from seeing positive things.

* What are the positive areas in your life that aren't being affected by your current challenges? Do you still have your home and health? Do you still have a job that provides for your family?

* By focusing on the positive aspects of your life, you'll find areas in which you can still feel thankful.

2. Treasure the small details.

It's easy to lose sight of the small details if you're overwhelmed by a difficult situation at home or at work. However, if you learn to treasure the details, you'll welcome gratitude back into your life.

* Are you happy with a new paint color at home? Are you proud of a small project at work? Did you finish a long book? These small details can make a big difference in your gratitude levels.

* You can show your appreciation for the little things by making a list of everything that needs your love.

3. Search for joy.

It's important to add joy to your daily schedule. Watch a comedy, read a comic book, or share jokes with friends. Add laughter to your routine.

* Laughter can help you notice the areas that need gratitude in your life.

* Joy can help you feel appreciation toward your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.

4. Put your pain in perspective

Make it a point to avoid getting lost in the negative emotions of your challenges by looking at others.

* If you can put your pain in perspective, you'll discover that there are others who have even more challenges than you. If you're worried about your house, job, or health, think about those who have even less.

* Perspective can help you understand that everyone faces difficult challenges. You're not alone, and you can still feel grateful for other things in your life.

5. Understand the power of change.

Change is a regular part of existence, but when you're struggling, you might feel as if your life will never change.

* Remind yourself that changes occur all the time, and change can lead to gratitude.

* You can show your gratitude by recognizing that changes occur and can lead to better things. If you feel trapped and stagnant, keep in mind that a transformation is possible. It may take time, friends, effort, and perseverance, but you'll get past your difficult situation.

Your ability to find gratitude doesn't have to be limited during challenges. Search for the positive areas in your life, even as you struggle in other areas.

Remember that you're not alone and that everything changes. Soon, you'll find yourself feeling the gratitude that you seem to have lost.

I'll be adding more themes to the range of Gratitude Journals and Thankfulness Diaries, so keep checking here for the latest releases of my journals:    https://amzn.to/2Kk2REb
